Hello and thanks for looking at my post. I made another post but i think it was in the wrong place (sorry). I have a few questions as i am really worried about getting something that wont work well or is not a hood buy. So far, this is what I have chosen, I already have speakers, monitor and keyboard etc and am going for a white build. Cheers!

I have a few questions maybe you can help with?

1. First of all the little boxes beside the items, green, orange and red. What do they mean?

2. When i was first looking at the motherboards i was really intimidated by it. I have no clue about this stuff and was recommended to get the MSI one along with the MSI graphics card. Is this okay in this build?

3. I phoned the guy at overclockers and was asking if i could get 32 ram instead of the 16 (As 16 is the highest you can go) I was just wondering why this isnt an option and what make of RAM i should add?

4. lastly, is my build ok? Like is it all compatible with eachother etc? I have no idea and im really worried because this is a lot of money for me (now 2k) and i cant really afford to learn from any mistakes here :P

Those boxes show the status of the parts - if they are all green then the parts are available in stock for quickest despatch if they are red then the parts have been ordered but OcUK don't have an immediate date for availability so your order could be delayed and if they are orange then there is an ETA for when they are available and you could encounter a short delay with the order (if you hover your mouse over the orange ones it should show a date when those parts are expected to be in stock).

As for graphics card choice we would need to know roughly your budget and what kind of gaming you expect to be doing to advise the best option there.

Not sure why 16GB is the max RAM choice there - don't go mad in terms of branding and "special" features with RAM as it is all pretty much a muchness and super high end RAM doesn't really make much odds unless you are running like a 20 core CPU and 4 graphic cards. I'm a fan of Kingston personally as I've found them to be solidly reliable but Corsair is also a very good choice and can offer better compatibility in some cases.

I don't have a lot of experience with MSI personally - there are a few positive posts about the 1080 Armor in the graphics card section.
