Well.. Hi

I'm (hopefully) gonna buy a gamer system soon, i have a £1000 budget (money permitting)

So far i have come up with this:

Mobo: P5Q Deluxe
CPU: E8600
RAM: 4GB Corsair 1066Mhz
GPU: Gainwood 4870X2
Case: Antec 1200
CPU cooler: Freezer 7 Pro
HDD: 160GB 8mb cache <- can i put more cache on one HDD than the other and run RAID 0?

Tell me what you think, and yes i do have a 160GB 8mb cache already.

Oh i will be modding the case, crysis transfer on the side etc and white fans =D

Hi and welcome to the forum. Two alterations I would make, get a better CPU cooler (if you want to overclock), and get another HDD, they are so cheap now it really is worth it.

For CPU cooler look at the TRUE, Tuniq Tower, or Noctua. Look at the Samsung Spinpoint F1 HDDs, they are supposedly very good, Western Digital are good too.
 
I have a freezer 7 and it's pretty large, unless your doing a very aggressive overclock i don't think you need more, ppl have got some nice overclocks on just stock cooling

Only thing is the freezer 7 is a tight fit on that mobo, it just fit's in, providing you face it in a certain direction, you can probably shave off some of the fans plastic casing to get it fitting in all directions though
