Games addiction

I took my 360 and arcade stick to London when I was working there during the weekdays for 6 months. Had people over for SFIV sessions in the Mayfair hotel :p

I work away so much for my job, and while my phone + wiimote gives me SNES/MD gaming, I am really looking forward to the 3DS.

Spent 10 months away in hotels and always took my 360 and laptop. Levelled my mage to 80 on the hotel wi-fi :p

In a hotel in wolverhampton this week but left the 360 at home...got my laptop, DS and FFIII...or I just read...

Buy the monitor :p

personally first i would ask if they could set it up but if not and if i had the funds i would get the monitor, i was away for a week while doing some training and i know just how long and boring the nights are.

or go out and and try pick up a cheap PSP/DS and a couple of games

Buy a universal remote for your next trip.

Criticism on how to spend your time from someone with a post count in the 15 thousand region amuses me.

Having lived in hotels for the best part of 18 months I have worked out how to use a work laptop to boot from a linux USB key and be used for ICS to get on Live while i was in Korea. Bought and US 360 so i cold play CODMW2 on release day (including seeing the freaks you hear on XBL in the flesh at a midnight opening of bestbuy).
Bought my own laptops once work locked down watching media on theres (mp3, xvid, and all well used messanger client files are now auto removed as they are seen as a virii).

Spending long times away from home has its advantages (i meet my wife for example) but at home the xbox or ps3 helps me unwind so its something obvious to do while you away.

Anyway im currently sat in a hotel in Indonesia on the laptop i bought with no english TV and 2 portable hardrives full of DVD rips for when the jetjag takes over and the wife is asleep
