We are all PC gamers but what games did you see through to the end in 2009!!

mine (what i can remember now after a few jars!!)

Burnout paradise
Fallout 3 (twice)
Farcry 2
Braid
Pure
Fear 2
Mass Effect

and games I didn't

Fallout 3 is the only game that I've ever fallen in love with enough to play through twice - first time evil, second time bad.

And the second time I modeled him on Barney Stinson from How I Met Your Mother xD

I didn't like COD WAW when I first played it but it gets a lot better and more involving after the first few *dull missions* - I'd reccomend giving it another go as some of the missions are really, really good fun. Also loved GTA4 (except for the glitch at the end being unable to get into the helicoper 99 times out of 100), and hated Prototype and Spore!

Other games that I completed were COD MW2, and DiRT2 (amazing.) Funny really as I played so many but only those spring to mind - I remember the days when I'd buy a game and not put it down until it was finished, regardless of how good it was or not :(

Hehe fallout once goody and the other an utter evil *******, i just shot everyone in the face as soon as i met them :)
 
Mass Effect about 5 times.
WCIII+TFT Campaigns again.
KotORI+II again
Torchlight
Titan Quest + Expansion a couple of times in co-op.

Loads uncompleted, Baldur's Gate Trilogy Mod is my main failure :(

Aaaaaaaaaand thats about it I think, most of time is taken up with FIFA 10 or FM09/10, which cant exactly be completed :(

I did finish all chapters on Left 4 Dead 2 if that counts :p

Crysis Warhead (had to force my self to finish this one, rapidly down hill after when aliens appear....again)

GTA IV (poorly optomized for PC and still can't get into a GTA game, even though I have bought them all)

Resident Evil 5 (very annoying, 1st Resi game since the first. Rose tinted specs are busted)

The only game I've completed in the last 10 years is MW2 :D

Saw the ending on my brother 360 and was impressed so I had to do it!

Normally I only ever buy games for multiplayer :) competitive like that ;)
 
Since 2003 I've keep a text file listing games I've completed, one thing that annoys me is I didn't have the foresight to put dates next to them :( Anyway, I did these in 2009:

Somewhat unusually for me, most of those are modern games, with only Freespace and Bloodlines being oldies.
It should be noted that I'm taking 'completed' to mean main storyline beaten, not 100% completion for games that offer it.
 
I'd have completed loads more than I did if it weren't for ~400 hours on PLants vs Zombies :D
 
I could never bring myself to complete Far Cry 2, i just got fed up of trekking all over the map to do missions :(

Crysis. I'm near the end but sort of lost interest.
GTA IV. Probably about half way through, got a bit bored with it.
NFS:S. Unlocked a lot of the stuff but its just more of the same.

Games given up on;

Far Cry 2. Was such a chore.. had to force myself to load and give it another chance.
CoD WAW. Just got bored towards the end and uninstalled it.
