I am looking at hooking my PS2 to my TFT Monitor (VGA only) which my HTPC uses, hence, i will need a switch between the 2...

I have onboard gfx (no TV in or out)
Compro DVB-T200 tv card, with composite input
Run MCE2005 ...

in case those give an idea of a better way to do this...

Anyone done this and can recommend a product ?

Monitor is Acer AL1916W (1440 x 900 resolution), 16:10 widescreen...

Thanks :)

Use S-video in on that TV Card and use DScaler (if it supports that card) to display the game.

I'm using a cheap Pinnacle TV card, S-video and DScaler for my NES, SNES, N64 and Gamecube (S-video for all except NES).

If DScaler doesn't support your card, I'm not sure what I'd do. If the software bundled with your card is OK, use that?
