Games for the Mrs

So the Mrs is trying gaming, I have a ps5 and other consoles but she is getting used to ps5 so any suggestions I’d like would be for ps5

She is loving Hogwarts Legacy partly cause it ties to Harry Potter but even then she’ll likes it as its own story

She wants to try other games now but I’m not sure what to suggest as I don’t like Hogwarts Legacy and unsure what games would be like it anyway

I did think dragon age veilguard purely due to fantasy element

Any help?
Honestly my ex wasn't a gamer, but she really loved the Dead Or Alive games. Specifically DOA2. And she would actually ask me at night time if I could carry on with Starfox Adventures. She was also into Sonic games. I remember when I got Sonic Unleashed I never even had a chance to touch the pad,she just snatched it and hopped into my chair. She was also scarily good at Crazy Taxi.Try something like that.

As someone whose partner also really enjoyed playing through hogwarts legacy, she's also really enjoyed playing through some other story driven games on the ps5 like Ghost of Tsushima and God of Wars, both fulfill the open world and collectable / side mission bits like legacy has. Less mechanics, more reason to keep playing beyond just the gaming side of things.

Astrobot
Both Horizon games
Sky Force Reloaded (can be co op)
Rocket League (Rumble game more fun and requires far less skill with cars imo)

Any help?

Mrs plays way more games than I do, mostly on the PC but won't play console other than Switch for the exclusives on that. Loads of games she loves, and has played though from end-to-end, far too many to mention/recommend. Alan Wake(s), Cyberpunk 2077, Horizon Games, Assassin Creed games, God Of War(s), NMS, Stray, The Thaumaturge, The Witcher(s), Last of Us, KCD1/2, Ratchet & Clank, Elden Ring, Alone in the Dark, A Plague Tale(s), Fallout(s), Red Dead(s), Star Trek Resurgence, Monkey Island etc. etc.

Problem you have is there are way too many to chose from, and looking backwards will be cheaper if you make a mistake/bad choice.

My Wife isn't an avid gamer (thankfully, or we'd be fighting over who gets to play on the lounge TV), but she does enjoy big, open world, story-driven games, and puzzle/choice based narratives.

Her favourites are:

The Last of Us (1&2)
GTA5
RDR2
Hogwarts Legacy (natürlich)
Forespoken
Mario Odyssey
Dark Pictures Anthology series
A Plague Tale (Innocence & Requiem)
Detroit: Become Human
Heavy Rain (we bought the PS4 bundle with Beyond Two Souls, but she didn't get on with the latter).

I loved stray myself I forgot about that but she does love cats like me so that be a good shout!
That was literally the first game we played on the PS5 - can't believe I forgot.

My wife is a hobby-breeder of Persian/Exotics, so she can definitely be labelled a Crazy Cat Lady.
