Games for windows live crashing?

The other week, i bought Flatout ultimate carnage, which crashes to desktop on vista 64 after about 30 seconds to a minute.

This morning i picked up Lost Planet, and it does the same, both pretty much with identical errors, so im thinking its more a windows live problem, rather than the games themselves.

Anyone had similar problems and been able to fix them?

As far as I know... 'Games for Windows Live' isn't even implemented yet There is a 'Games for Windows' tag on some games, but they are only tags and shouldn't affect the games themselves.

Doh, put this in consoles instead of pc games.

They log you in when you start the game, the same way that the xbox does, that seems to be where the problem lies, i had a swatch on google and there was problems with this going back to gears of war.

You could try installing the latest Games for Windows Live updates manually at http://www.gamesforwindows.com/en-GB/Support/live/Pages/default.aspx and see if that makes any difference.

Do you get any error message at all? You could try looking in the event viewer to see if there's any messages there too.
