Games for Windows live Dawn of war II

Hi all,
Basically i am having an issue within the game dawn of war II,
It was working fine for ages but i got bored of it so i installed a mod, Wrath of the blood ravens 2.6 or something, this was ages ago.

Today however i wanted to play a game of last stand with a friend so verified the game files to make sure it deleted the mod, which it did. However when i now click any form of multiplayer gaming it says "No Multpliayer privelages", or something like that. So i cannot play online with my friend, now the online worked before i had the mod, and during when i had the mod on, and also once or twice in the middle when i deactivated it.

I have looked on the website for a contact e-mail and can only find phone numbers much to my annoyance, and i do not fancy ringing somewhere in America as it is likely to cost a bomb.

So does anyone have any ideas on how to sort this or an email i can contact them on?

Is it a Steam game? It may be a case of uninstall & re-download.

Yeah verifying probably won't cut it if you've modded. Delete local content, then delete the folder to get rid of whats left and reinstall.

I completely reinstalled the game but the same thing is happening, looks like i may have to ring them up..

Are you sure you aren't on an offline profile or something?

And did you have to put your cd key in again?

Make sure you press HOME key when the game is loading, it will display the games for windows menu, here you can sign into games for windows live.

It sounds like its not automatically signing you in.

Can the game even run without live? Thought it wouldn't let you save.

I think you can play singleplayer without signing into live.

Live must be installed though and running or the game doesnt load.

Yep live is installed, running ive played about 80 hours + of the game most of it being online, my live profile is DEFINATELY signed in as i can see my friends playing their games and stuff. It does auto sign me in and i have not had to put the CD key in again, but will tinker with that later,

Could be they have flagged the mod so stopped you joining online anymore. This uses both Steam & GFWL so not sure if it uses Steam VAC to monitor online play or not.

If your connected to GFWL with an online profile then that system will not stop you playing online it must be something else if the game is fully patched to the newist version.

I bought this & Chaos Rising a few weeks ago cheaply on DVD & both work fine for me so the games still work ok with GFWL.

My VAC Status is still fine so im guessing its only at games for windows end, looks like ill be making a phone call to them, im guessing it will cost a load as they are in the states?

They must have a support email or maybe a live-chat sort of thing.
