Games freeze

Brothers computer freezes in all games aside from Tyranny, weird. GPU or PSU friends, I am not sure. He has no replacement parts.

I had a similar problem, computor would freeze at any point ingame, all games were the same. I tried reformatting first which didn't work and the I stripped it down gave everything a good clean, reseated the cooler cpu and haven't had a problem since then. I assumed I had a dodgy connection somewhere.

Well I tested PSU and GPU on OCCT, both failed. The PSU is from 2012, so just got him to buy a new one, we will see if it fixes the issue. Older games don't seem to freeze, it is either the GPU (RX 580) or the other.
