Games in 2008 to look forward to

Then no :p. They're clearly nothing alike bar having 'dead' in the title :P. I believe it's on an island too as opposed to a shopping center. It sounded very promising when it was mentioned on here by Abooie I believe.

I think it would have been better if they had two main characters in separate games. One that's still with the program and another that's gone rogue, give each their own story and then maybe have them meet up and have to work together, or something.

It's possible to make prequels though, it's not hard to write him back in a company, or even make alternate series, or make it so that the existing stories didn't take place, taking a leaf from the Zelda stories and have each as their own little story.
