Games in vista question

Is it me or do games look better under vista rather than under xp, i took before and after screenshots with a few and i could tell the difference and vistas looked a lot better.

I guess is you are running different driver versions, one may look better than the other, but no, not really. Unless they are DX10.

Can you show us the shots? There really should be no difference, unless you have technical issues with XP (or play DX10 games of course).

dx10 may affect this, but other than that, its the same render.

maybe you had driver settings to performance or something in xp

different drivers can give different levels of quality.

working on getting some screenies up, but i did notice that in a lot of games under vista they just look sharper, for instance overlord just looked smoother and stalker looked sharper aswell.

yeah I gotta say over lord does look a bit better now.

CoD4 ran MUCH better on Vista for me than it does on my XP box (that has a better spec).
