I have bought myself a couple of flying games (lock-on, etc..). I have been trying to play them with the keyboard and mouse, but its not going so well. So I am in the market for a Joystick. I don't want to spend more than £30, and have narrowed it down to these 2 at the moment.

Logitech Extreme 3D Pro Joystick
Saitek Cyborg Evo Joystick

I know nothing about these sticks and would appreciate some advice on which is the better game, or if you have any other suggestions as well :)

I came in here to pimp the Cyborg Evo actually :)

I don't know if it's better than the Logitech, and I don’t use it for slight sims, but it is incredible for BF2. Hardly a sim, but the principle is the same. It is a little annoying having the throttle in the middle on the base. There is also another problem that got me a little annoyed when I bought it. The base is fairly large, but its light. That means if you jerk the stick to one of the extremes you will find it will lift a little from the surface, and the pads underneath do little to keep it in place (I don’t notice it anymore, but it did get on my nerves at first). That being said, I have owned two other sticks in the past and the Evo has lasted longer and performs great. Better than anything else I’ve tried for the money. It’s customisable too, for hand size and lefties. Great stick.

i bought Saitek Cyborg Evo Joystick and loving it so much. It's good and value for money! Buy that since your budget is £30

Yeah you can't go wrong with the EVO, had mine for years, great sticks. :)

If you get the Saitek do not get the wireless version it sucks big time. Mine kept losing connection despite being less than a foot from the PC, buggy is an understatement.

Took it back and bought an X52, but if I had your budget I would recommend the Saitek wired version.
