Games like Mechwarrior ?

Looking for some mech based games simular to the Mechwarrior series mainly the ones that have a mech cockpit view + controls etc not entirely 3rd person.So far ive found this and Earthsiege 2.

They need to make another Mechwarrior: Mercenaries game. The simple ability to chose your own contracts and use the money to upgrade you mech, its weapons, armour etc or hire more team-mates and do the same with theirs added so much to the game!

3rd person Mechwarrior style games utterly fail. It should all be about simulation

In fact i hate all 3rd person games. The only ones i ever thought it worked for is the Tomb Radier series

That trailer looks awesome, i was thinking how awesome it would be to run the game on a big projector setup.
It should be simulation though.

The only game back when i used to play Mechwarrior that even compared were the Heavy Gear games.

Its Mechwarrior, since its a 'series re-boot'. Re-booting old games seems to be the in think atm.

Also, that leagle trouble isnt anything new. They have complained in the past at Mechwarrior 2 and got 16 mech designs taken out. TBH, im surprised that Smith and Tinker made the same mistake again.

I agree. I remember playing this. Another great game needing a remake.
