Games like Ominusha?

Hard to gauge out of your question, are you asking for more games in the style of Onimusha (It's 3rd person perspective)? Or just Samurai/Fantasy based games in general?

Because if it's the first, there's nothing like that any more, since it is essentially old-school Resident Evil style of platform action. Dino Crisis was another similar style but that series is long dead now.
 
Old, archaic, changing trends and too many people spoilt by modern games these days.

I mean for example if Capcom were to make a new Onimusha today, more likely it won't ever be in that old style, and you only need to look at the Resident Evil series to get an idea of how their other franchises have changed.
 
Dark/Demon souls??

they have great combat and i thought it was the combat in onimusha that made it great as it was different to most shooters that were available

even if they are not a great comparison i would still say try them as they are awesome
 
Those games might be too difficult but if we are going into that territory, then Capcom's Dragon's Dogma would be a better bet and it's more action oriented, and takes many elements from their other games like Monster Hunter.
 
Funny i was thinking about onimusha yesterday. I have all 3 games on ps2 but no ps2 consol xD stupid ps3 none backward compatible
