Theres several, but they all unfortunately suck.

Btw Sins GOTY can now be bought for 6 quid at zavvi

(my post was probably of little help to you, but I've looked and all the 4x games currently available are sucky)

i wish i never bought sins they harped on about how they would reward people who bought the game with patchs etc instead of copy protection...

then launched out expansions fairly rapidly which meant no one even played the original version anymore...

Homeworld 2 is the best space strategy game going despite being so old. Its a smaller scale than Sins but is still hectic

I really hope there is a Homeworld 3 in the works, the story is fabulous.

I have heard good things about an indie game called "star ruler", its quite like Sins
