Games Min Spec's question

the min spec of witcher 3 says AMD 7870...i have a 7950, from peoples exp with being this close to a games min specs, how well would you think this game would run? if it would go 40fps on low i would be happy, just wondering if its time to upgrade or are game min specs normally good to go by? (rest of my parts are ok)

I'm wondering the same thing, I have a moderately overclocked 7950 Boost, though I'll find out in four days as I have the game pre-installed ready and waiting.

I would suggest you'd be fine. I have a 7970 and its a fair amount faster than the 7870 but only slightly faster than the 7950. If you're happy on low as long as you're only running 1080 I can't imagine you'll need to upgrade just yet.

You could probably push mids and a few highs out of it.

I expect your 7950 will run it reasonably well, all considered.

i keep going 'i need more power!!!!' then seconds later going 'no i dont!!!!' so hopefully it should be fine

What resolution do you want to run it at?

if it doesn't run well you may need to lower down some settings to get it playable.

I think the recommended cards is a 290 or 770
