a few of my games wont go full screen like they have a black boarder around them. any 1 know how to fix this. ?
 
It might be a setting on your monitor - or graphics card - not supporting scaling or the requested resolution too. What monitor - what resolution (are you trying to use).
 
using ati gfx card with acer 1920x1080 monitor and yes scaling is enabled had to drop it down to zero for my desktop top be right.

using hdmi connection.

have a look in ccc for the scaling options (graphics, desktop and displays, right click the monitor icon and select configure).

EDIT: Sorry - just read your reply, what resoultion do you have the games set to run at and if not 1080p does your monitor have a setting to automitically resize the image?

Perhaps this might help.

Your graphics driver might be using different scaling options for certain resolutions when running at specific refresh rates. You'll want to reduce underscan to 0% for the combinations that you use.

Enable GPU scaling (to full panal size), however.
