Games on Laptop with 3.3 score (Vista)

Bought a new laptop (Acer Aspire 5315). Flashed the bios, upgraded to the latest and greatest Intel Graphics drivers, deleted all the crap software....Defragged, etc....got 3.3 on the Windows Vista Experience score thingy.

Any advice on what games would run OK at Low Res on this machine? I was wondering about GTA3??

Actual specs are a far better indicator than the fairly meainingless Vista index score, to be honest.

i believe it should be able to play GTA3, as for resolution and quality, im not sure.
your specs are something like -
Celeron-M 1.83Ghz
1GB Ram
X3100 Intel Graphics?

my laptop has :

1.6ghz core duo
1GB ram
80gb hdd
some onboard gay intel gma graphics
Vista

and plays GTA3 MAXed out

My spec is:

Celeron 540 (1.86Ghz), 2Gb DDR2, Intel 965 Express, 80Gb DVD Multi, Vista.
Really?!....GTA 3 should play OK???

The X3100 will play Far Cry on lower detail, same with F.E.A.R, but you will be limited by the 1gb of RAM and the celery.

Well, i got home and loaded in GTA 3.
I set it up to run at 800x600x32 (or something like that!)...

Smooth as glass! Ace!

What other games would people suggest for this spec machine?

I used to play Morrowind on my old Dell C400 which was onboard GFX, rubbish CPU and 1GB ram.

Ran fine

Deus Ex ran fine too, as did Thief 2. Both great games.

Oh yeah, Football Manager too. But I turned off most of the background leagues as it as a little bit clunky.
