Games On New OS Install?

Hey guys just done a fresh install of Windows 7 64bit from Vista 32bit and all of my "old" files have been put into a folder called "windows.old" and i would like to know is it advisable to do a fresh install of my games that are now in "windows.old" or can i just run them straight from that folder still?

i would do a fresh install of the games, not sure that they would work anyway but you could try.

Some games will run, some won't. I'd just re-install them 1 by 1 as you play them to save any hassle. You can always copy any save files across although most of these will be in my documents. You might find some games run but fail to save display settings etc.

Theres not, I just delete the folder after doing a fresh 7 install

no harm in deleting it atall, its there just to save documents mostly incase you wanted to keep them. i had it once when i upgraded and saved some docs then deleted the folder and never had once since as just wipe the drive clean now and fresh over the top
