Hi Lads,

There's some releases on the way soon which I'm pretty excited about, Metro 2033 and Singularity are at the top of my list. My only issue is I'm still on Vista 64bit, I'm saving for a car so I don't quite have the dosh right now to go out and buy Windows 7. Is Windows 7 really a significant improvement for gaming or am I okay with Vista for another month or so?

Of course. The gaming performance is negligible, I haven't noticed a difference upgrading Vistax64>win7 x64.

Gaming is great on Vista, when SP1 was release way back when it caught up with XP SP3 performance and even exceeded it in a load of tests.

On Windows 7 now at work and home as it makes working so much easier with the new interface (stacked windows etc)
