I know this subject could be potential minefeild with the forum rules against competitors websites . After using a certain jersey games company for a number of yrs for all my preorders , they have become rather rubbish at getting games out to on me release day .
The question is , who is the best for price and delivery ?

As i am not interested in anything else but pc games , i hope we can do this without breaking the forum rules.

There's only one guaranteed way to get games on release day, and that's to go to the shops yourself.

Never order anything online that you need on a time constraint, most of the time it's fine but sod's law comes into play when it's urgent. ;)

The problem with going to the shops is , unless you live in the city the smaller towns shops are rubbish for pc games . The shops that may stock the games sell out really quickly and if you work , you are always last to get there.

Preordering works great for me . Sometimes you get the games a couple of days early which is great .

I dont mind digital downloads but they are never cheaper than the boxed copy from a discount etailer.

I really do like Steam as a hassle free way of downloading games , but 3rd party games seem to suffer for patch support.
Ask anyone who owns cod waw , steam patches are weeks late sometimes.
Not good if your mates have patched for the new content , maps etc and your left waiting not being able to play .
Also sometimes steam has bad download speeds when everyone wants to download at the same time.
I really like steam but it suffers from its own popularity.
