Games problem

Hey guys, When playing games on my 2nd build I get some kind of glitch. A large black line appears for a split second at the bottom of my screen then my fps seems to get cut in half, after around 5-10 seconds later the black line reappears and my fps is restored. This happens every minute or so and is very annoying when playing oblivion/bf2. When running MSI Afterburner I see that when the line appears and my fps is cut my gpu usage spikes from around %50 usage to '100-120%' for a split second according to afterburner.

Spec:
2 Monitors
GTX 275 not OC
AMD Phenom II x4 940 3.0ghz
mobo: MSI P45
Kingston 1333 RAM

Are you running the latest drivers?

Have you tried running the game on each monitor to see if the problem still persists?

Ok same thing happens except the black line occurs on the same monitor and not the one I was playing the game on. Monitors are both Viewsonics VA2213w and VP171b-2

Try unplugging the monitor that the problem occurs on, play a game on the one it's fine on and see if you black line appears on that screen.

Solved: Googled Oblivion Stutter Remover that fixed my oblivion problem and I have a hunch the bf2 problem is caused from an ini file i tweaked earlier today. Thanks for the help anyway.
