Games slowdown until I move the mouse

Got a weird problem here. Trying to play Trials Evolution with gamepad but unless I move the mouse the whole game slows down to an unplayable framerate. Same thing happens in Crysis 3 during the cut scenes, have to wiggle the mouse to get it back to normal.

Any ideas what it could be? Running latest ATI drivers.
