Hi guys im looking for some newish games suggestions,
RPG, action adventure game mainly but some other options like fighter, Racing would be good.
Either im just getting old or the games are not very good but I ive not found anything I can get into. any suggestion is welcome anything to get me back.

I'm thinking of giving Elden ring and Hogwarts a try.

its been some time since I've played a good RPG.

Hogwarts is more of an action adventure than RPG.
Elden Ring is 100% about combat, so if you want other aspects as well, I would recommend Kingdom Come and Enderal.

Great that cover one for each genre I wanted, Elden Ring for RPG and Hogwarts for action adventure.
Kingdomcome also looks good, ill give that a shot as well.

Enderal: Forgotten Stories ?

Enderal: Forgotten Stories
Yes. It is a free game made on Skyrim engine. It is much better than Skyrim, with one of the best stories and questlines I have played in any RPG. For more information you can check my posts in this thread:

How did I miss that. I must have thrown a bazillion mods and quests onto Skyrim at one point, not played for years though.

May have to give that a look myself. Those screenshots with whatever ENB you used look sweet.

Used 0.475 but now there is newer version

I used this one

But maybe even better way to play these days is with some modpack like

Mass Effect remastered trilogy. an easy 30-50 hours right there and a great story as well. Currently £12.49 on Steam in the sale (bargain!) or available on EA Play for £4pm.

any other suggestions.
I gave Elden ring a try but it seam to be missing something IMO, not very fun unless i just need to give it some more time.

some of these may be :
baldur's gate 3
Disco Elysium
Toybox Turbos
Artificial Extinction
Bardbarian
Demeo
Gloomhaven
NieR:Automata
Terraforming Mars - might work for you

i dont have so many fighting or racing

Thanks, I ill check them out.

Just wondering is is baldur's gate 3 out yet ?

I Started Hogwarts the other day and its once of the best games I've played in a long time.

I will likely give they a go, mass effect 1,2 are 2 of the best games I have played

Racing: Assetto Corsa (with Content Manager, Custom Shaders Patch, Pure and Sol Mods). Literally hundreds of free track and car mods available to keep it interesting. The game itself isn't new but there's a steady stream of new content for it. It's a sim though so a wheel is recommended.

Subnautica is a bit more "survival" than RPG, but still has some decent character progression as you build up your gear, along with being really atmospheric and a solid story - it's probably one of the most memorable games I've played in a long time.

Kingdom Come as mentioned above is great - it's a bit of a slow starter though, so persevere with it (I got bored after a couple of hours the first time I played, but went back to it after a year or so and got completely hooked)

The Ascent is pretty cool if you like the whole cyberpunk aesthetic - a top down/isometric shooter/RPG

Stray is great (especially if you like cats)

If you haven't played RDR2 yet, then I'd absolutely suggest that

Thanks everyone, I will take a look at all the above to see what else I like, kind of addicted to Hogwarts legacy at the moment.

also does anyone know of any other similar games to Hogwarts legacy ?

Dunno if it’s what your after but other semi open world / story heavy games recently from the AAA world have been Cyberpunk, Red Dead and God of War. If you have something else you’re after have plenty of recommendations, but those are sort of bouncing of your like for Potter.
