agreed and i cant wait for the expansions for both coh and supreme commander :p
 
Company of heroes for me too- months of getting to grips with the game to allow playing on the various ladders which work really well(though not up to battlenet standards yet as relatively new).
So much mico and startegy to learn, tense and exciting games - brilliant multiplayer game.
 
I love Dawn of War + addons, brilliant RTS.
HL1 and HL2 ofc..and one of my all time fave games is Silver - i'm just praying they decide to make a sequel!
 
For me its Half life 2 & HL2 Ep1 & deathmatch, one day (not so long ago) I thought Im gonna try them ... and they were wicked!

Also postal 2 ... what a great game of violence ! ;)

haha yeh overlord its great, its simple yet very very fun to play and i never get tired of the repetition of the minions, oh and the jester has some great lines to (assuming you give him a chance to speak instead of just smacking him around)

X3 Reunion by far exceeded all my expectations. Reading on here people telling me it was slow, far too big and crap, I took and dive and purchased it anyway. It was a great buy! :)
 
Hitman Blood Money. After playing the great Hitman 2 then the not so great Hitman Contracts, I didn't know what to expect. But they did it and succeeded in all areas.
 
Manhunt. I just like that style of gameplay. It could have been a lot less violent, I still would have liked it all the same.

admittedly it has no replay value but it's a fine game none the less

again lacking on the longevity thing, but it's good clean fun. also it looks absolutely great and runs maxed out even on mediocre hardware. i played for awhile on a 7600gs and it was just as smooth maxed out as it is on my x1950pro. only concession was turning the anti aliasing down to 2 on the nvidia card. :)

^^ truth tbh

It was hiped up a lot, but fair play to it, after a couple of patches, the game lived up to everything that it promised to be, and even before the patches nobody cared, because they were still drooling over the scoll function and looks...

Quake 4, all i saw were bad reviews, when really, the single player carries on nicely from quake 2, and has a fairly similar game play as it (run along and blast everything... u didn'e expect tactics in quake did you??? :p) And after a few physics updates in patches, the multiplayer was ver q3-esque.. ie, awesome

Nothing else really sticks out as exceeding expectations..
 
world of warcraft

i bought it thinking ill see what its like for the first month wasent expecting to play it for that long

2 years on still installed it did cure me of my counter strike addiction but it just replaced it :S

That's pretty much my entire gaming life, very very few games hold my attention. Theres a few single players I've missed out. As I can't remember there names. But they must be from mid 90's.
 
Max Payne 2 (didnt like the first one due to it being 3ed porson but got Max Payne 2 for cheap played it give the 3ed person a chance and noticed i didnt stop playin it till i fished it lol)

bfme mint game even better online

bfme2 need time to get use to the changers (till i started winnig online)

and for my fav all time game and cant beleve no one has sed this final fantasy 7
best game ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
