I was wondering what the best games were that support HDR in Windows 10? I'd love to test out my new monitor with some of them, but I'm not sure what the best games to get are.

Any suggestions are appreciated :).

Resident Evil 2 remake has the option for it in the demo, that might be a pretty good example when it comes out due to the dark areas in the game.

I just played Assassins Creed Origins with HDR enabled and it looked bloomin' amazing. I'm loving it. It is the first time I've ever seen anything that is HDR.

Black ops 4, Fifa 19
I connect my pc via hdmi to my tv when my son is round and these default to 4k, hdr

Yup second assassins creed origins. Go out of my way to play that on a HDR TV even when I have higher refresh rate monitor available. Looks amazing cranked up.

I want to use HDR but I really can't get it to work properly with a Nvidia GPU. I presume desktop issues with washed out and hard to read web pages is pretty common though?

Yeah is pretty normal AFAIK. For that reason, i will only toggle on HDR when I am about to launch a HDR game. Otherwise as you say, desktop can look washed.

I would recommend adjusting the desktop colour settings in NV Control panel, Select the use NVIDIA settings and adjust to suit. This has worked for me.

Also, if viewing HDR content on YouTube, go to the Adjust Video Settings in NV Control Panel and select use NVIDIA settings, bring the brightness down to about 40%, this combats the washed out look for HDR on YouTube. This can be adjusted during playback of HDR content and only affects the video feed.

I would recommend this HDR video for reference - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ESxn1cLz-Ig

Forgot to mention Hitman 2 has HDR also. Only works with Exclusive full screen setting but does look better with it on than off.
