I've finally got around to putting a graphics card in my media PC so that I can play games on my TV on the sofa.. However after playing PES, Blur, Splinter Cell and GRID I can't think of any other games to play!

Anyone got any recommendations?

Batman AA

Bioshock 1 & 2 (works surprisingly well with a controller)

Gears of War

Bioshock 2 has no native controller support - you can use pinnacle game profiler though.

To be honest, nearly all PC games can be made to use a controller if not native support included. There are keymappers and apps all over the place to help you get controllers working for most games on PC.

And most Games for Windows with Live support an xbox360 controller.

Devil May Cry 4 is alright on pad.

to be honest, about the only way to play that game. Keyboard and mouse is a tad tricky with that title.

Resident Evil 5 and Street fighter IV are also very good with an Xbox 360 pad, both from Capcom - who seem to have a decent rap regarding making their titles run nicely on PC...

Mirror's Edge
Assassin's Creed I + II
Brothers in Arms - Hell's Highway
Burnout Paradise
Rainbow Six Vegas
Resident Evil 5
Red Faction: Guerrilla
Tomb Raider Underworld

Just Cause 2.

I turned my controller on to try it with that and the button bound to the hook shot (LB) didnt work at all, are you able to 'rebind' the controller buttons?

(Tried a second controller and it was exactly the same, so not a broken button)

XPadder will let you map the controls to anything you want and make profiles so basically when you have a little while you can set it up for all your games.

TDU is good.

Batman AA
Any of the LEGO games (Star Wars, Batman, Indiana Jones, Harry Potter - there's weeks upon weeks of gameplay in this series - even better - 2 player on one screen, meaning you can involve your kids or other half!)

True.. But I generally play FPS games on my PC so am not used to using a controller! :)

I'll have to give some of these a go, the Lego games were quite fun when I played them a while back so might get them and give them a blast! I forgot about the RE, Tomb Raider and Devil May Cry games so will give them a try too! :)

Good point! She normally hates gaming so I might be able to persuade her its fun with some of these..

I have a bug in Just Cause 2 now and again where the grappling hook seems to lock. Jumping off a surface and using the parachute seems to fix it again. Maybe this is the issue?

I was walking along the ground, jumping around and it wouldn't fire at all

Sorry I don't know, because mine worked with the Windows 7 drivers straight away. (W7 x64, wired controller).

Crysis has native support for the 360 controller. Other options not yet mentioned include Prince of Persia (2008) Prince Of Persia The Forgotten sands,Tomb Raider Legend,Tomb Raider Anniversary,Splinter Cell Double Agent,Splinter Cell Conviction,Alone In The Dark (latest one),Episodes From Liberty City,Fallout 3.

Pinnacle Profiler will get most games working that don't have native pad support, lots of official and user profiles available.
