For Doom 3 right click the shortcut and goto properties then goto the Compatibility tab and tick the Disable desktop composition box and try running it then.
 
What is COD5? COD WaW works fine for me, was having a good bash last night (of the game). This is through Steam though.

I have only my Steam games, GTA 4 and that rubbish Mirrors edge, all working fine, GTA was a pita to install though.

Not sure on GTA 4 but i had the odd stutter in lord of the rings conquest this is a clean install but with windows 7 its smooth as anything :)
 
Cabal online doesnt work on windows7 (think its a problem with the game launcher itself and not the actuall game).

Every other game i have tried (all listed above lol) work great.

No change , still flickers badly the only drivers that work are the windows update ones but i just don't like em , nvidia monitor scaling doesn't work.

Thats due to BINK not playing correctly in game with win 7
 
Doom 3 - FIXED WITH 181.22 BETA NVIDIA DRIVERS

EDIT : Maybe not , its flickering again

I installed GTA4 in x64 but i cant get exe to run in any compat mode or admin,

Havent really looked into it but i suspect irs cause of securom
