Games With Amazing Sound ?

Looking for a game to play, Any genre, That the devs actually put effort into the sound, Alien Isolation was the last game I played that the devs put some real effort to make the sound epic and it showed.

Any recommendations are appreciated :)
 
Hellblade has some decent binaural sound in it.

The up n coming Post Scriptum online WWII squad game has lots of sound detail in general. Good impact in the bust fights.
 
nah i dont mind if its slower paced. it was more game mechanics that let it down. like only being able to run for 30 paces. only being able to jump 1 cm high. just a few annoyances that turned what could be a great game into a annoying one. game balances aswell.

:confused: I love Elite and play it to death but even I have to admit that the sound is average at best.

As to the OPs question.

The scoring to Skyrim is stunning and extremely cinematic even if the ambient sounds are left a bit wanting and Company of Heroes still stands up really well on the sound front today with it being one of the games I have to turn down when playing and it all starts kicking off.

no point really . i gave feedback early on. had people saying you cant run far fast or far with backpacks yet i trained to become a marine in real life. feedback was never really listened to.some of the gameplay is amazing as i said the sound but mainly its a poor mans arma.and i dont really like arma.

TESO I must say. Great music themes for each zone, and pretty good directional sound, especially in dungeons and delves where the is echo.

And on top it has bards in inns singing one of them been Malukah.

Quite a few hours spent in Dawn main building, listening to her singing while reading the Lore books collected.
