I checked, but no recent threads that I can see.

I've been playing Shadow of Mordor again, and might actually be enjoying it more second time round as I know all the moves etc. I can't say that there are too many titles I could replay like this and enjoy so much. Particularly games that are story driven, I just can't do them second time round. TW3 is an example of a brilliant game that I just can't play again due to knowing all the dialogue that's coming.

What games would you say had great replay value for you?

I don't think any one player gives replay value personally, I would look at online MP games that you can potentially play solo like diablo out a decent mmo?

Any of the dark souls games. I completely each one multiple times (on my second playthrough of DS3 right now) and thats not even with taking a break and coming back to them later. I can literally play them over and over, its like a disease!

Strategy games, RPGs and MMOs have the best replayability of any genre if you ask me. With strategy games every battle is unique and you can always play through as different factions as well. RPGs you can take different choices while questing or spend ages trying to 100% the game and MMOs, well, you can play them for years and never complete them if you pick a good one like EverQuest.

Company of Heroes 1 for me, always end up firing that up and playing all the campaigns. Brilliant game.

Off the top of my head:

System Shock 2.
S.T.A.L.K.E.R. / Fallout / Deus Ex / Thief series.
Dark Messiah of Might & Magic.
Morrowind.
Legend of Grimrock.

I'm nearing the end of my second run through Dark Souls III and feel like I could immediately go into a third. It actually felt fairly short on a first playthrough, and the second has confirmed that you can really motor through it if you know what's around every corner. That's about my only complaint though.

Rimworld - I'm hooked on this at the moment, the storylines aren't defined but it's almost like each game is a little story that just happens, who crashes nearby, fights with neighbouring towns etc. Fantastic fun.

Medieval Total War 2 - still my favourite and picking a different faction completely alters the dynamic.

Borderlands 2 would get a vote from me, pre-sequel wouldn't, didn't care for it much.

Civ 4 and Endless Legend - completely different games every time you play them.

Dishonoured - I played as a good and bad guy, you get to see things a little different each time.

Fallout 3, I don't rate 4 (think it's junk) but loved the third one.

Dark souls series, only games i have ever replayed right away. Mainly due to variety in builds co.pletely changing up the feel of the game

Diablo 3 i would say also for similar reasons
