hi

this has proberly been asked loads but....

i have a 360 and ps3 and have just burnout and uncharted on the ps3 , what i need to know is , is there any good games worth getting for the ps3 so it gets a bit more use before the new gta comes out?

i dont like the thought of my ps3 gathering dust until april the 30th , i have ordered bully but thats on my 360 and i have not got many games that have long playability on the ps3

for me games that ive got and always pick up that have long playability throught the year are:

360: fifa 08

ps3: none until gta which if anything like the others i will be playing for years

any ideas on a ps3 game until gta??

cheers

Just curious, why are you getting GTA on the PS3 when the 360 version has exclusive downloadable content?

As for your question UT3, CoD4 and Warhark will offer lots of replayability due to the online aspect of the games.

Oblivion if you havent played it on another system, Folklore supposed to be quite long as has quite a lot of extras on the PSN store (actually arrives today for rental). Resistance SP game is about 10-15hrs depending on difficulty and the MP is fun. GTA5 Prologue out the end of the month has quite fair bit of play time (if you like that kinda thing), Ratchet and clank is another 12hrs plus game but you need to play it twice for all the power ups and extras. They should last you a while depending on how much time you spend playing games.

not to bothered about exclusive download content , and every gta ive had has been on a sony playstation so im going to get it for the ps3

cheers people

Pixeljunk Monsters! It will take you quite a while to get the rainbow for each forest level! Otherwise, I'd agree that Oblivion is a worthy purchase to last days if not weeks!

This will keep you busy for hours. As it does for me, even though I have other ps3 games I can't stop playing this!! It is this yeas SuperStardust HD (get that too if you don't have it!!)

How many rainbows you got ic1male?

Folklore - A really overlooked PS3 game.
Oblivion - As mentioned above.
CoD4 - Has a very short SP, but the MP will last you ages.
Final Fantasy XII - Yes I know it's a PS2 game not a PS3 game, but if you haven't played it, and don't mind PS2 quality graphics, it's awesome, I'm 60hrs in and probably only half way through.

you would be best off describing the kinds of games you like?
if like me you are not keen on rpgs then there is no point in someone suggesting oblivion for example

imho

ps3 - resistance - warhawk
360 - crackdown - saints row [both cheap now and will last until gta4]

cheers everyone i might check out pixeljunk monsters on psn , as ive got bully arriving soon on the 360 and im sure once i get gta on the ps3 i want need a new game for a long time hopefully

thanks

the only games that have replayability for me are multiplayer (off and online) so think of genres shooters and beat em ups and racing. For ps3 the most popular choices would be warhawk, cod4, ut3, and tekken 5 dr online, burnout paradise.

stardust hd from psn has had a surprising amount of playtime, probs becaue of the online leaderboards.. but it is a really cool and simple game anyway :)

The Godfather: Dons Addition - if you haven't already played it already. Plenty of playability there and can be picked up quite cheap now.

I spent around 200 hours (excluding re-loads) on Oblivion, so if you havent played that the GOTY edition is definitly worth the purchase.

hi

ok ive got it down to the following , although i might check out pixeljunk monsters i would also like to get one of the below what should i get , i would like to say i dont get loads of free time playing games as i would like , so which one?

lego star wars complete saga
oblivion

thanks

Hmm, You want Longevity but lack the time to sit down and get immersed.

In that case, I'd go with the lego Star Wars from those 2 games listed there, As Oblivion requires you to be sat down for a fair amount of time.
