Well, more gun based than Titan Quest
But its probably more to do with the aesthetics, where everything is so dark and grimy (as befitting the lore) I just found that it made everything on the screen look messy and found it hard to really make things out, I found Titan Quest much more clean and crisp looking. Which is a shame as I say, because I adored Titan Quest and really thought I would Grim Dawn too.
Its hard to put my finger on, especially as I really like Warhammer Inquisitor and thats also gunny and dark, but just somehow looks less messy and more clean and crisp
You are right, GD can be really dark in places, Crate has announced the next expansion for GD and its set in desert type lands, instantly reminded me of TQ lol. I think a lot of people have commented on the darkness of GD and i wonder if thats pushed Crate to move the game towards a more less Grim looking setting haha.
If you havent played the expansion, AOM, definitely recommend doing it. It added 2 new Class Masteries, tons more content, although some of that can be fairly dark, but overall definitely made an already great game better.
Im also with the other commentators saying Division, i bought it on both Xbox and PC both with Season Pass, and will do the same with Division 2, day one purchase for me.
I will probably try out the new Warhammer game as it was made by the Van Helsing team and i enjoyed that game too.
