games wont work (dx errors)

Hey all, turned my pc off the other day, came back and now now direct x games work (well cod4 and AoC pipe up about generic dx errors then close)

dxdiag (32 and 64bit) say everything is ok.

I dont really understand it, I tried reinstalling dx10 and it went ok, but aside from that im lost.


Any help? Any info I can display that will help?

Check your video card drivers are still isntalled maybe.
