Games you liked but won't be getting a sequel

I've just been playing "Remember Me". Love the art style, the fighting, the setting. Almost everything about it. But it seems it never got much attention on release. Indeed, I wouldn't have played it except for PS+. The developers didn't feel there were enough sales to make a sequel which saddens me.

And another one is Kingdoms of Amalur. But the developer went bust so there won't be a second one of those. :(
 
Castle Crashers - They don't make sequals :(

And Timesplitters, I know they've got sequels but not one since Xbox Original Era. Studio gone but if Hitman managed to come back, why not this wacky shooter?

I've yet to play this, it's on my shelf :p You may want to look at the Drakengard series though (I think it may be PS3 only however for 3, 1 and 2 was PS2 I think?). There is supposedly some connection between the worlds of Drakengard 3 and Nier, but I don't know what that is as I've not played that either yet, it's not a sequel but again maybe worth the look if not already :)

For me I think it has to be Darksiders, we MAY get a sequel still but after the THQ thing, it's only a small chance. Virtue's Last Reward may also be getting a sequel but as to when, who knows...

Agreed. Got it as soon as it came out and couldn't put it down.

Having just finished it, I'd like Dust: An Elysian Tail get a sequel, but the guy that made it wants to work on other things for now.

The end didn't really leave an opening for a sequel though. Unless it were to follow someone other than Nilin but even then...
I thought her father decided to do away with the company and stop every thing they were doing?

Though a truly fantastic game, hours flew by playing it. A very deep storyline
 
I quite enjoyed Remember Me, but it was badly let down by shoddy voice acting and the combat mechanics were frustratingly awkward at times. Beautiful looking game though,
