games you should own

None of the games on sale "should" be in your collection, ARMA II for example, great game but if you aren't really into SIMs and heavy team play, you won't get anything out of it at all.
Just go through the games on sale and anything that catches your eye, watch a youtube video on it.
Don't waste money expecting other peoples opinions of games to coincide with your own, there are only ever so many games on sale at a time anyway so it's not like you'll be spending hours looking through them.

Starcraft 2 - The best RTS there is. Played as a national sport in Korea with huge cash prizes
Doom - The game that really made FPS games take off
Battlefield 2 - Combines fantastic graphics *with gameplay* In a proper squad you will have many hours of fun. Do not compare to recent titles such as COD 15(?) of Battlefield 3. These seems much more like spray and pray games with lots of explosions and stuff but no real tactics

As Fenris said, it's all down to personal preference as to what games you like. What type of games do you like playing??

I can't mention WOW and SC2 as I've never played them for fear of losing months of my life to them. Probably more to add to that list but these are games are all good fun and that I feel have moved gaming along in some way.
