Games you're playing, and games...

Just started playing Dave the Diver on my new switch lite. I needed a more wholesome game to break up my battlefield sessions!
I like the mix of exploring, crafting and tapper.
 
Picked up preowned Ratchet and Clank Rift Apart on the PS5 after reading some good stuff about it over the years. Wanted something a bit more lighthearted as a break from Arc Raiders. Can't see what the fuss is about. Pretty average kids game without any redeeming features, other than the price. Back to Arc Raiders it is!
 
Messing around with a few games after picking up a OG Xbox 360 "Premium"* (original 2005/6 console repaired by Microsoft in 2009 with a mix of OG CPU and newer GPU) and Xbox One X (For backwards compatibility and local Co-op on our TV downstairs). Mainly been playing some Rainbow Six: Vegas, Test Drive Unlimited and GoW. Games are super cheap atm and have effectively only spend around £100-125 all in for the console and around 50 games. Not going for a complete collection just ones I want to play. :)

Also picked up Horizon:FW again on my PS5 Pro. No idea why I stopped playing it but smashed through a chunk of main story and a few side quests. Played round robin (literally) with the Apex ThunderJaw (The pillar was the real GOAT tbh) and then proceeded to get my ass handed to me by a Storm bird which I didn't see...

Also completed Lego: Horizon with my wife in Co-op. Decent game but was missing a lot of the OG Lego series magic. Also had really random difficulty spikes which were just bizarre (sudden influx of enemies and then a super easy boss fight).


*360 is also running a 500GB SSD as the original 20GB drive only had ~13GB of available space and was sounding, er, interesting..
 
I have the itch to play a Souls-like game again, anyone played Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty? It looks ok, reviews also look ok-ish, also looking at Nioh 2, I have played Nioh 1 although got about half way and dropped it, wasn't bored just played something else and never went back, do you need to ideally play Nioh 1 before Nioh 2?

Nioh 2 is a big upgrade on the first and a much better game I think though ultimately too hard for me or rather I wasn’t willing at the time to push through. I can’t really see any continuity between 1 and 2 so for me it doesn’t matter. Wo Long felt like a bit of a disappointment and I dropped it fairly early on.

I started Wo Long but something just felt off, can't put my finger on it, I see Nioh 3 is out fairly soon and kinda peaked my interest to play Nioh 2 to maybe get up to speed, might give it a go and try it see how it goes, I do love a decent souls game. I have also seen Hell Is Us, which looks interesting.. dont think it is souls though but no map, markers or anything? seems interesting!

That's a great game, completed that and loved it!
 
Finally got around to Clair Obscur, only a couple of hours in but thoroughly enjoying it. The music is something else!

Still getting use to dodge/parry my timing is dreadful :cry:
