Gamesave manager or steam mover

Hey Guys,

Got a 120gb ssd ordered and going to use as a boot drive but also for a few select games. Been reading a little on how to use steam games on an ssd and think I get it. What is the best of the 2 in the title of the thread? plus any tips for doing this?

I use steam mover. It's simple and works.

What games are you using on your SSD? Might be a silly question but will it work on origin also? it's just a file moving programme right?

Both steam mover and GSM work the same way; there should be no difference in the end result. But it's worth using GSM for the extra benefits - easy automated backup of saved games, so you don't have to go hunting all over your hard drive for the various places different publishers put them.

I use GSM and it works fine.

One's as good as another. I use all the other features of GSM as well though, they're great.

Might just give both a try and see what I prefer. Still not arrived, sent non trackable so hopefully arrives by its estimated delivery date. Been hearing how good SSD's are for ages so quite excited.

Ah good so Origin is fine also. I'll fire BF3 on that then, I find the loading slow in that game
