Gamespot - Not as good as they used ot be?

Cant put my finger on it, but they just dont seem as good as they used to be.

Maybe its just me :(

Where does everyone else go for their gaming fix?

Anywhere else offer video reviews of games other than IGN?

Same as all these sites that go all 'commercial' and sponsored to the teeth. Still find it semi-useful for bits of info though occasionally.
 
GameSpot are like a big family to me. I felt sad to learn that Greg has now left. Boo-hoo. He was a good, honest reviewer. Daresay Jeff G will take over that role now.
 
Yeah advertising to the hilt these days. There news section and rumour control is pretty good, though their reviews have been a bit wonky lately.

I also recently discovered Kotaku which is quite good.
 
Have you tried 1up.com? I always find them pretty decent for reviews and news etc, but I usually just go to gametrailers.com for vids.
 
I stopped going to 1up.com after that Che guy left and they revamp the layout of the whole site. As for Gamespot... 8.8 ;)
