Gamestation PC Downoads?

I put on call of duty today and just reminded myself that I bought this game off gamestation digital downloads. I was wondering if anyone knows where the downloads are kept so I can back it up as I have the serial code from my email which I backed up. i've emailed gamestation and ztorm to see what I can do

When I brought Just cause 2 form Gamestation I downloaded the game via steam. If you game is saved in steam the backup would in: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\yourusername\callofduty

the game isnt steam bud I had to download via a exe application then install it I did try activate by steam

Won't the code work on steam in the future
