This years, or is it last years ? Bafta game list has been revealed, I would have possibly changed some of the noms but anyway here is the list my choices in bold.
Naughty Dog's Uncharted 2: Among Thieves leads the field at the British Academy Video Games Awards with nine nominations.

Announced today, the BAFTA ceremony will see Activision's Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 up for eight awards, while Batman: Arkham Asylum has seven nominations and Assassin's Creed II has six.

All four titles are in the running for the best game category, along with best action, gameplay, original score and artistic achievement.

Modern Warfare 2 and Uncharted 2 will contest the multiplayer award, alongside Battlefield 1943, The Beatles: Rock Band, Halo: ODST and Left 4 Dead 2.

Valve's zombie shooter Left 4 Dead 2 is also nominated for best game, along with best action and use of audio.

The BAFTAs this year will feature a people's choice award, with the public voting from a shortlist of ten games chosen by journalists and industry experts.

Not saying i liked Uncharted 2 or anything lol, thought KZ2 should have been in the noms for GFX and MP, and Halo ODST in soundtrack. I didnt pick a winner for mp as i couldnt decide. I thought the use of online was a slightly different thing as to me to MP, as to me it is down to all the other online features such as leader boards, videos, matchmaking etc all things i thought U2 did better than the other ones listed.
edit can a don change the title to gaming lol

Going to be so disappointed if MW2 takes away an award. I like the game i just dont feel it deserves an award.

Hope unchartered comes back with multiple awards, its such a good game, and it sucks that ME2 was released too late to be involved in these awards, always next year i hope!

Where's the rpg category? And where is Dragon's Age, Demon's Souls or Torchwood?

EDIT
Oh, DA got a mention, I missed that.

I think I prefered Batman:AA over Uncharted 2, and certainly cant figure out how it can be up for the "best action game" when you spend more than 50% of the game doing nothing to do with action O_o.
I actually think its a little sad that 5 out of 6 of the Best Game awards are sequils, and out of those 5 at least 3 are slightly tweaked versions of the previous incarnation without bringing a huge amount new to the table when you look closely.
Whilst I've enjoyed all of the mentioned 6, Batman was the only one that really suprised me. I thought it was fantastic for a movie tie in and was the first game in ages that I very much enjoyed without expecting to, MW2, Uncharted 2 and L4D2, in my opinion didnt have that 'x factor' for me. Whilst they all have their merits, I dont think they deserve goty.

I really hope Uncharted 2 does well, There are some great games there but that games just special in so many ways. I was actually sad when it was over.
