Gaming affecting Reality?

...sometimes I would sit the the PS controller in my hands during games and pretend I was playing it on a future console when the graphics will be that realistic :D
Tell me you're joking? :o

Nope, I'm not messed up.

Worst I've ever done is try grab a post it note that was stuck on the edge of my screen with the mouse cursor, but to be fair I have a triple monitor setup and the post it was between 2 monitors.

Yup i get some stuff like this now, partiularly crackdown i see buildings and wonder what ledges i can grab onto :o . I do find myself trying to click real life things around my monitor with my mouse to, only done it a few times but felt like a real turd after realising what i'd attempted.

Oh my worst one, after my first car crash my head definitely went "Esc, ctrl-z". No word of a lie it was my first reaction to it :o .

Of course your not... ;)

I am totally ****ed I see skate paths all over, I have worked out how to scale most tall buildings in my area crackdown style, even to the point of knowing what agility level I'd need to be able to do so. I also know where the secret orbs are likely to be :o

I know the best placed to defend certain areas in the event of a 4v4 death match and sometimes I wish I could revert back to a save.

I often have Gears of War or Halo2 dreams...

Must be a slow new week...haha.

am I the only one who sees this article as kind of superfluous? or stating the obvious?

People daydream about repetitive things they do in their daily life? You don't say.

The worst thing is going to bed after ages playing just the one game, especially something involving tricky and complex puzzles or thats extremely repetitive in nature, if blinking and seeing images vividly wasn't bad enough, actually going to sleep becomes a night long annoyance where your mind is still trying to workout some silly task that usually can't be solved or that doesn't even make sense. :p
