Hi guys and girls.

I'm on here hoping that someone can give me some much needed advice as I'm really out of my depth with PC's these days. There soo many different components iv got a headache trying to look into them over the past week:confused:

Basically I'm after a new PC which will be used for designing on Signlab 8, illustrator, Photoshop etc and whilst I'm here I'm going to go down the PC gaming root and step away from the ps3. May as well kill 2 birds with one stone. Like I say I'm really out of my depth with PCs these Budget started at £500 but I keep adding to it  as you do. Ideally £800 but could push it a bit more if its really worth it.

Sorry for the long post, hope some of you geniuses pit there can help :D

Cheers,
Ben

Hi Marsden and welcome to the forum, you will need to remove your link to competitors as its against the forum rules.

do you need a pre built system or can you build it yourself ?

Thanks....Is this the sort of spec you would consider to be good? Is this classed as a 'capable' machine? Basically would it struggle with new games on decent settings?

Its definitely a capable machine and would cope with most games at 1080p. Graphics cards are the biggest factor in gaming capability but you still need a decent cpu to push it.

If you build it yourself then i can upgrade your gpu to a 280x, also the Msi motherboard comes with a free cooler.

MSI also has a feature called Overclock Genie that will auto overclock for you

Cheers guys...so basically if I can build it from scratch I'm going to end up with a better spec PC for slightly less money...win win, if I don't screw up the build :cool:

Best get checking out YouTube for tutorials and see what I think about building one

Well finally decided on a spec and ordered last night. It's coming built so there's no worry about me destroying anything.
