I wonder if anyone can shed some light on some computer problems I've been having with frequent "Blue Screen of Death" problems on a relatively new, pre-built machine.
Two months ago I bought the overclockers Titan 8700i Pulse desktop system and upgraded to a HD7850 graphics card and almost immediately out of the box I've been having problems with BSODs, most notably when I try to play games such as Civilization V, Witcher 2, Heroes of Might & Magic VI, etc.
Sometimes the games can run for hours at a time, sometimes only a few minutes; in the last week I've had the following blue screen messages:
* Clock interrupt not received on secondary processor.
* System service exception.
* Page fault in non-paged area.
* Machine check exception.
Obviously, my computer/hardware knowledge is somewhat lacking and although I've tried googling a few of these error messages, the techspeak often used to explain possible causes goes straight over my head. I suppose my best bet would be to get in touch with overclockers as the machine is still under warranty, but if these errors can be sorted with reasonably easy fixes, I thought I'd explore this option first.
So, does anybody have any ideas?
