Need a new keyboard for 75% gaming and 25% typing. From a very brief look sounds like brown switches or similar are best. Looking for something around £150 max.

I've got a Corsair K70 with Brown Switches.

Not too loud but still feels nice to type on and gets used for typing mainly now however used to be just gaming. Have had it for ~5 years now and it's still solid. Has held up to working from home typing all day for a substantial amount of time now too :)

That's a big budget lol. Tell us about what you usually like. Styles etc, rgb?

Have you looked at Razer? Usually more gaming focused but well can still use office work.

I just have a big basic keyboard at the minute. Gaming keyboard weren't really a thing when I was last into pc gaming. Coming back to it now and want a better keyboard.

Well I mean with your budget you're gonna get some great quality kit whatever you get. Corsair, Razer, even cherry or logitech offer luxury gear at that price point. It's usually the flashy rgb stuff thatll come up but if you're not into that you can either choose something else or just turn the rgb off.

Really annoyed got the Logitech G513 in the end, well the black paint is coming of the keys already, most noticeably on the W, A, S, D keys, on the edges and on the surface so the letters dont look correct. Looking to get it replaced so what to replace it with, something that doesnt require the led light to be on to see the keys and that maybe has a coating on the keys or not painted at all.
