I see in the bios there's an option to enable gaming boost
I assume this is for people like me who have no knowledge of overclocking , except ram ?
Is it safe and would It increase my fps in cyberpunk 2077?

I have a 750w corsair psu, noctus nh-u12s fan and ryzen 5 3600

Thanks

Ganing boost is an auto ovetckock feature for the cpu, keep an eye on temps. If your using a stock cooler i wouldnt do it.

It should have a small increse in fps but you can test before and after.

Not using stock cooler it's a noctua nh-u12s.

I may give it a go and if temps too high then turn it off

Wont cause any damage will it ?

Fair enough. I may try to do it manually .

Increase the MHZ and voltage slowly ?
What should I be aiming for on a ryzen 5 3600 ?

How does overclock affect the boost ? One core usually gets to 4.2ghz and the others 3.9ghz...

Also what's a safe voltage ?

Think I'll leave it. Likely the bottleneck is due to my rx580 and overclocking a CPU which already overclocks itself is risky
