Hi guys, new to the forum and just want some advice on this build.

Firstly the purpose of it is gaming with general use for browsing and media.

In terms of gaming what sort of standard should I expect for recent games, is high settings an unrealstic expectation?

- Corsair CX750 Builder Series CX 750W ATX/EPS 80 PLUS Bronze PSU
- Samsung 24x Retail SATA DVD Writer
- WD 1 TB 3.5-inch Internal Hard Drive - Black
- Samsung 840 EVO 250GB 2.5 inch Basic SATA Solid State Drive
- Corsair CC-9011028-WW Obsidian Series 350D Solid Micro-ATX Performance Case for Computer - Black
- HyperX FURY Series 8GB DDR3 1866MHz CL10 DIMM Memory Module - Red
- Intel Core i5 i5-4690K CPU (Quad Core 3.5GHz Processor, 6MB Cache, Intel HD 4600 Graphics, Socket H3 LGA-1150)
- MSI Z97 Gaming 5 Intel LGA1150 Z97 ATX Motherboard (1x DDR3, 6x USB3.0, 8x USB2.0, GBE, LAN, HDMI, DVI, VGA)
- EVGA Nvidia GeForce GTX 970 Superclocked with ACX 2.0 Cooling 4GB Graphics Card

This doesn't include monitor which I have bought already.

In addition any advice for a gaming mouse and keyboard?

Was replying on iPad then popped the laptop on for a more detailed answer, then Stulid beat me to it.

That case can only house Micro ATX motherboard's here is an alternative slightly more expensive. http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=MB-502-GI&groupid=701&catid=5&subcat=2811

I currently received a new build with the Corsair 450D, would the extra space appeal to you allowing you to house an ATX motherboard and more room if you ever decide to SLI resulting in lower temps and less limitation on card sizes I assume.

The CPU is known to be great bang for buck especially on the gaming front as is the Nvidia 970 GTX at 1080P and perhaps on most games even at 1440P a single GTX 970 will run games comfortably on High/Ultra settings. (What resolution monitor have you bought)

Just to add cheaper memory http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=MY-205-KS&groupid=701&catid=8 running at higher Mhz as Haswell are believed to perform better with faster ram. (Currently what I use in my system paired with a 4690k)
