I'm looking at retiring my old x58 build as the hardware appears to finally be on the way out (2 of the 3 ssds routinely disappear so maybe a controller issue on the mobo).

It's lasted 5 years with a couple of gfx card refreshes and I'm hoping to build a similar platform to last the next 3-5 years.

I've tied with lots of different build but just can't decide on specifics so looking for some suggestions. Really after quality components, known for reliability & stability. I want as few issues with this build as possible.

Preferred chipset is x99 to take advantage of any support for multiple cores in future games.

It needs to drive a 4k monitor at 'reasonable' frame rates (note that I've been relatively happy with the performance of an 8gb 290x so SLI isn't a hard requirement.

Budget is approx £1500
Monitor, storage, peripherals and OS are not required.

I'd like to order within next couple if days for delivery on Friday so needs to be in stock.

Thanks stulid, looks like a good build and that bundle is excellent value.

My only concern would be the M2 limitations on the majority of the gigabyte boards - certainly not a showstopper given their value.

If I were to opt for an AIO what would you recommend?

Thanks for all the helpful advice Stulid, it's appreciated.

Whilst I didn't quite go with the suggested configuration it did help me make up my mind :)
