hi guys,
just looking to make another gaming build
i was trying to get it to a budget of £1000 all in (monitor, keyboard case etc..)
so i am trying to build the base of the system for around £700 i will come to accessories another time.
but as you can see i got carried away with shiny pretty things. mainly the GTX 980 and 4820k
is this a little over kill even for current AAA?
as its going to be gaming only, i think the 16GB RAM is also overkill.
so yeah just trying to shave a bit off this price, unless I'm aiming to high already.
i am also unsure about the x79 and x99, is it simply the x99 is new and x79 is old?
Intel 4820K 3.70GHz (Ivybridge-E) Socket LGA2011
CP-502-IN - £239.99
Gigabyte X99-UD4 Intel (Socket 2011) DDR4
MB-513-GI - £167.99
TeamGroup Elite 16GB (4x4GB) DDR4 2400MHz Quad Channel
MY-058-TG - £179.99
Crucial MX100 256GB SSD
HD-036-CR - £79.99
GALAX GeForce GTX 980 "Reference Design" 4096MB GDDR5
GX-005-GX - £419.99
£1087.95
all input appreciated

thanks for the build, im still working other sources for final bits, so hopefully dont need to spend lots on case/PSU then can afford this.
