Gaming Build - £700

Hi guys, I would greatly appreciate it if you could spec me a PC which is mostly going to be used for gaming. Apart from the gaming it will be used for school projects which will include the use of Photoshop, Dreamweaver and Flash.

Asking the experts

budget is £700 but can stretch to £800 if it will be worth it in the long run. I don't need keyboard / mouse or a monitor.

Is anymore inforamtion needed?

Do you need an OS and have you any components from an existing PC that can be reused?

If you can reuse an old HDD/Opitcal drive, you can save a good £90 which will keep your build within your £700 budget with an i5.

The OEM Cpu does`nt come with a cooler and you hav`nt specced one.

Yes.

Great price of that 7850.

The 3570k is very expensive (on OCUK) at the moment may be worth searching around..

Getting the retail version would give you a stock CPU cooler.

That PSU seems a bit overkill..

500-550W will be fine.

Damn, sorry never knew that! Fail lol.

Yeah PSU is over kill as well, a 550 or even 450 will do, the 7850 is not a hungry card. Would be lucky if that build exceeds 350watt under full load.

Too true, mine's pulling a little under 330W when running benchmarks.

Yeah my msi7850 and amd pulls 390w from the wall although amd do recommend you get a 550w psu for a 7850 but mine runs fine on a 500w and so does my 6970 which is also recommended a 550w
