Gaming build for friend

A friend wants a PC built primarily for gaming (games like BF4).

Has a budget of around £800 and I came up with this, what do you guys think?

Yes that was something I was going to go for first but the i5 only has 4 threads. Won't more newer games benifit from more cores and threads?

If/when that happens, then he plops a second hand i7 in there and sells the i5, getting better performance than the dead AM3 with zero real upgrade path.

In the mean time he enjoys better performance from the i5
